Jacquline Cochran

Picture
Jacquline  Cochran was the director of the WASPs, and broke the sound barrier in 1953. She broke the 2,000 kilometer international speed record and the 100 kilometer national record. Cochran was a controversial leader, she was known as arrogant and competitive with few friends.
